Independent Professionals

Our recruitment process is thorough which allows us to respect the professionalism of our tutors by giving them the freedom to tutor relatively unsupervised. Our contracts with Academies and Trusts require adherence and monitoring to key professional standards, something we find come naturally to our colleagues.

We operate as a cooperative of professional teachers in which we provide the structure and professional framework within which colleagues are free to focus on their first love of supporting students with tuition.

To apply

You will need to be an experienced classroom teacher with a joy of teaching. 

You will need to complete our application form on which you will be asked for details of  your teaching experience and to provide names of two professional referees.

There will be a formal interview after which successful candidates will be invited to join the Community Schools subject to safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS check.

The Community Schools provide the following:-

  • We manage a Covid Secure environment
• Parental Communication
  • We manage the parents to allow you to focus on tutoring
• Training
  • We deliver inhouse training and also provide for outsourced training to keep all our tutors up to date on issues such as Safe Guarding, Best practice in Online tutoring . 

We tutor students from year 4 to year 13 of all abilities in core subjects, maths, English, Science and modern languages. We are increasingly offering other (close to the full range of) subjects at GCSE and A level.
