It is a condition of employment that the tutor should not have been convicted of any criminal offence against children, nor have been dismissed from or resigned from a previous employment for misconduct of a similar nature.

Have you been referred to the GTC on misconduct grounds and/or are subject to a reprimand and/or a conditional registration order?

Disclosure and Barring Service

Successful applicants will be asked to provide their recent Disclosure and Barring Service with children’s barred list check certificate. They will also be asked to provide their update DBS service details. If this is not possible then the they will have to apply for a new DBS enhanced with children’s barred list check (the Community Schools will contribute towards the cost ) and then sign themselves up for the update service.

I certify that the details on this application form and any supplementary information attached are true as far as I know. I understand that if I give false information or withhold relevant information, it could result in my dismissal.
