School Holidays Setback
We know that not all students are the same
After the school holidays some students return in September and easily pick up where they were at the end of the year. Others simply forget. They start slowly and get left behind. We want to help you, so that you catch up and don’t lose confidence and heart along the way.
How we can help you
At the Community Schools we provide the foundation for a successful school year with their successful Summer School. Our Back to school programme takes place face to face at centres across Suffolk. Subject to availability, we help children prepare for the new school year after the summer school holidays.
We have sessions for Key Stage 2 (combined Maths and English). For Pre-GCSE and GCSE students we offer Maths and English. At A Level (consolidation of Year 12 topics before the start of Year 13) we offer Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
We have no more than four students to a group, and we deliver sessions that runs 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and 1.00 to 4.00pm.
Our sessions are tailored to the individual student and this ensures that we help them sharpen up their skills for the start of the school year. This helps students starting GCSEs and getting focussed on their upcoming exams. This also helps students starting A Levels so they can cope with the jump up from GCSE level.
