GCSE & A Level

You may be looking online for resources to support your child’s learning of Science. There are lots of activities and revision notes available online to support school led learning whilst children are learning at home, and when they are back in the classroom. So, whether you are looking for help with Biology, Chemistry or Physics, we have pulled together some resources available online that you may want to explore further.

During Covid 19 many online Science resources have been made free to access or at a reduced fee. This list is not exhaustive, and we’re always keen to hear your recommendations of helpful resources that we can share with other parents, so please do get in touch.

Save My Exams: Revision notes topic questions and exam papers for each board in each subject. However a subscription is required for access to the Solutions – the Community Schools have subscribed! www.savemyexams.co.uk

Khan Academy: Extensive website – more of an international flavour. www.khanacademy.org

BBC bitesize: notes, explanations with good diagrams as well as quizzes and questions. Sorted by Board and topic. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/secondary

S-Cool: Revision site for Science. https://www.s-cool.co.uk/

Doc Brown notes on all sciences. Lot of detail and a little bit untidy in its presentation. http://www.docbrown.info/index.htm
