Online Tutoring Courses
All of the Community Schools online tutoring is delivered in 10-week blocks in a term. The students are committed to just one tutoring term and have the first choice of continuing for another term.
All Community Schools tutors are fully qualified and highly experienced, DBS checked classroom teachers. They are all teachers, passionate about supporting students to realise their true potential. We offer tutoring across a wide variety of subjects.
Secure Online Tutoring
We use the Bramble Platform for all sessions. Bramble is an online teaching tool that provides a secure learning environment for our students. The sessions are recorded and securely stored; allowing students to review and utilise the recording for further revision. Bramble has proven to be incredibly popular with all students.

Key Stage 3 and GCSE Online Tutoring
There are two options for Key Stage 3 and GCSE students:
One to One Tutoring 40 minutes plus independent work
- In keeping with The Community Schools ethos of making support for our students as affordable and accessible as possible, this is our most popular and cost-effective tutoring option.
- Personal 1-2-1 tutoring for 40 minutes
- 20 minutes of independent consolidation work provided
- Available for Year 7 to Year 11
One to One Tutoring 60 minutes
- Personal 1-2-1 tutoring for 60 minutes
- Available for Year 7 to Year 11
A-Level Online Tutoring
- Personal 1-2-1 tutoring for 60 minutes by our specialist A-Level tutors
All our tutors are fully qualified teachers
Every tutor at the Community Schools is a fully qualified teacher with recent or current experience working within schools. This is important to us as an organisation because it ensures that our students are taught by teaching professionals with up to date subject knowledge and a thorough understanding of examination criteria.
Since the Community Schools were founded over 10 years, it has been our policy to work with experienced teachers rather than graduates who may have less experience.
