LD – Year 13 Student
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help over the last few years. I’m happy to say I was awarded ABB in Geography, Biology and Chemistry (as well as my A in Core Maths!) and got accepted by the University of York to study Environmental Geography. The Community Schools has helped and supported me with both my GCSE’s and A levels and I can’t thank you enough. I would never have reached where I am today if it wasn’t for you, Bill, Robyn and Andy, as well as everyone at the Easter help sessions. I was always happy to come to my sessions as I always knew I would be leaving knowing far more then when I arrived! Once again, thank you so much for all your support and help over the years!
L – Key Stage 2 Parent
I had to write to you tonight because L and C loved their lessons with Jo so much! They both came out on a high and couldn’t wait to tell their dad and I what they had learnt (they NEVER tell us what they do at school so we were very shocked!).
They both proudly showed us their work and told us the lessons went so quickly. C said ‘I loved it too much’!
Please let Jo know how happy they were and thank her for making their first lessons with her so positive and engaging.
They’re already looking forward to next week!

All the sessions were tailored to my needs, which enabled me to quickly climb grades and swiftly improve. I attended tutoring for Maths, English and the sciences for my GCSE's. Astonishingly, I ended up receiving results that before, I could only dream of! It was always a pleasure to take part in the online sessions because of how organised and encouraging all the tutors were- this definitely helped motivate me to complete my work to my best ability. In the face-to-face sessions all the tutors were so welcoming and professional. Problems or inquiries that I had were quickly solved by the outstanding communication. I would highly recommend The Community Schools to anyone wanting to improve. With their high quality and highly rewarding services, your academic abilities will skyrocket.

Samantha Paterson2022-08-31We received my daughter's GCSE results last week and are absolutely delighted. We asked Community Schools for support in Yr 10 as she was struggling with both English and Maths. The tutors were amazing. All were online and 1:1. She went from a grade 4 in Yr 10 for both Englishes to a grade 8 in her final results and in Maths she went from a grade 5 to a 7!!! We cannot thank Community Schools enough. She will now be going into 6th form to study English Lit, English Language and Psychology.

Denise Lea2021-10-30"Would highly recommend". My 16 year old son became very depressed at home alone during lockdown and his School predicted he would fail his GCSE's. One-to-one tuition with fantastic teachers that believed in him and encouraged him boosted his confidence and made him believe in himself again. He passed his English, Maths and Sciences at GCSE and is now on his chosen course doing a BTEC in Applied Science at Suffolk One. We cannot thank the Community Schools enough.
Katie John2021-06-11We have been extremely impressed by the quality of the online tutoring provided by Claire and the Community School tutors. My daughter attended holiday booster sessions in both Maths and English, and then had weekly online Maths sessions with Claire. My daughter found all the sessions extremely helpful and well organised and they definitely helped to boost her grades - the school Maths teacher was so impressed with her improvement that she said my daughter could go on to do A-Level Maths if she wanted!! Thank you Community Schools!
