SEN experience; taught ICT and Computing in secondary schools in Wales, South-East and East of England. I became a teacher after a career in Project Management. I enjoy lessons with students of all abilities, across different key stages and in a variety of subjects. I'm passionate about tailoring my approach to suit each student's unique needs, whether in languages, English or technology-based subjects. I currently teach in a large state school in Suffolk. I teach GCSE and A-level psychology. AQA exam board is my specialty. I am also an assistant head of sixth form at my current school. I mark A-level papers for AQA every year. I love teaching psychology, I don’t think I will ever not be interested in this fascinating subject.

Christina Joannides
Qualifications: QTS level 5 teacher of Dyslexia Level 5 EAL teacher.
Experience: 12 years
My teaching has always been focused on supporting individuals who face extra challenges, whether this is dyslexia, dyspraxia or other SEN needs. I am passionate that each child should access education and feel included and succeed in their own way. As a level 5 specialist teacher of dyslexia, much of my practice has been dedicated to teaching and supporting these learners in Maths and English. All of my pupils gain confidence in their own ability through child centred teaching individually tailored to them.

My passion for maths comes from the truth that comes with the subject, and seeing concepts click with learners remains a privilege.
