Amanda Minter has been teaching Mathematics for 9 years at St Albans RC High School; prior to that she worked as a nurse and midwife. Having spent much of her time at school lacking confidence in Mathematics and feeling too scared to ask her teachers for help she is determined to help the students at the Community Schools by building up their confidence through going back to the basics and enabling them to learn from their mistakes. She is a ‘safe pair of hands’ who can guide each student through the mathematics to gain the skills that they need to succeed and thrive.
